Alfred Sisley
Alfred Sisley (French: 30 October 1839 – 29 January 1899) was a British-born Impressionist landscape painter who was born in France and lived there for the most of his life.

He rarely painted figures, and, unlike Renoir and Pissarro, he thought that Impressionism satisfied his aesthetic demands.

Alfred Stevens
Alfred Émile Léopold Stevens (11 May 1823 – 24 August 1906) was a Belgian painter well known for his works of attractive contemporary women.
His works show the influence of 17th-century Dutch genre painting in their realistic manner and precise finishing.
He attained critical and popular popularity with his depictions of upper-middle-class Parisian life after attracting recognition early in his career with a social realist painting showing the struggle of destitute vagrants.
He had a habit of using the same models over and over, and not all of them were aristocratic. “At least three of his regular models may be recognized in the infamous Book of the Courtesans,
a top-secret leather bound volume carrying the Paris vice squad’s surveillance data,” author Summer says.

Alice Neel
Alice Neel (January 28, 1900 – October 13, 1984) was an American painter best known for her portraits of friends, family, lovers, poets, artists, and strangers.
Her paintings are expressive in their use of line and color, as well as psychological insight and emotional intensity.
Her art presents women from a female perspective, showing them to be acutely aware of masculine objectification and the demoralizing effects of the male gaze.
Her art contrasts and confronts male predecessors’ customary and objectified nude representations of women.
She worked as a figurative painter during a time when abstraction was popular, and her work did not receive critical acclaim until the 1960s.

he began studying on his own in 1895 and periodically traveled to the countryside with an old friend of Cézanne’s, Father Jacomin, and his two boys.
In 1898, while studying engineering at the Académie Camillo, he took painting workshops with Eugène Carrière and met Matisse.
In 1900, he met and shared a studio with Maurice de Vlaminck, and they began painting pictures in the neighborhood together, but this was interrupted by military duty in Commerce from September 1901 until 1904. [4] Upon his discharge from the military,
